Admission
Prior to Admission
In order to ease the transition from your present home to Park Grove we would be pleased to visit you to discuss and concerns or fears you may have. This can be arranged through your family or social worker. Before admittance we would like you, if possible to visit the home and look around, staying for coffee or a meal if you wish. An accompanying relative or friend would be most welcome. A pre admission assesment will be carried out, this enables the home to gather as much information about yourself and ensure that Park Grove is the right home for you. Fees range from £400 - £500 per week. A full assesment of care needs will be carried out to determine the fee structure applicable.
Professional Input
On Admission
The person who met you on your inital visit will be there to greet you, and we hope your family and friends will accompany you on this special day. The daily care programme is organised as a response to residents individual and combined needs. All meal times are flexible and residents can arrange to have their meals in their own room or in the dining rooms. All laundering of bed linen and residents clothing is carried out within the home ( we request all personal clothing is clearly and permantly labelled upon admission). Each resident will be assigned a keyworker, of which will be allocated on the day. The keyworker will work alongside of you, with as much or as little input at your request.
After admission
We suggest a trial period of four weeks. This will give you the opportunity to decide whether or not you wish to stay with us. Should you not be happy, we will ensure that there are realistic alternatives for you to choose from. Remember the right is always yours to change your mind at any time.
